Hello Again!!!

I know it is about time.  I have been way too busy lately to be able to jump on and share cards.  I have hopefully figured out a way to get a tad bit of free time and now I hope to post on a more frequent basis.

I have had so much fun making cards on my days off.  I made a group of cards using the stencils in the Decor Elements catalog.  Oh the cards all turned out so cute.  To are so soft looking and easy to achieve the look.  I am going to share them with you all over the next few weeks. 

For all of you that don't know this, September is my birthday month....yes month....I milk it for all I can get so feel free to sent me a card....LOL....(I am just too cute aren't I). 

So to finish off the month of August I thought I would post a springy type card.  Today is wet and rainy and I want sunshine....I'm not through with summer yet....although autumn is my favorite season!

Decor Elements...got to love em!!

I just love my dining room wall.  I had to post some pictures for you all to see what I have done.  I painted the wall a few years back and left it bare as I didn't and couldn't find any artwork that I wanted to put up.

When I saw the Thoughts and Prayers Decor Elements from Stampin' Up!, I knew I had to have it....lol.  DH told me that I couldn't put it up!!!!  Like that is going to stop me...lol.

I had to share with you all before and after pictures.  I am going to get a few birds and put them up and take up some more of the wall space. 

I just love the way it looks.  The wall is painted a pale lemonaid color and the Chocolate Chip tree really pops the wood out of the wall.

I {heart} Hearts and Vintage Vogue

This card is so pretty and this picture doesn't do it any justice.  I will take another picture of it later and try to clean it up some as it is not a clear as it could be.

I started off by stamping the heart from I {heart} Hearts down my layer and then I stamped it on a post it note so that I could use the sticky part as a MASK.  Then I masked off the hearts and stamped the "ivy" from Vintage Vogue and it looks so cute.  

It looks like the hearts are growing up the ivy plant.

I also used one of the new SAB sets and stamped in Basic Black the sentiment on the lower right hand side of the card. 

This is as simple as it gets for a quick and cute Valentine's Day card.

More Vintage Vogue and Well Scripted

I just can't get enough of this cute stamp set, and to add the cute little butterflies from the new sizzix embosslet!  Need I say more!!! It just pops off the page! 

I used the new DSP Sweet Pea Pack and made the cute little embossed butterflies.  I doubled scored the edges in about 1 inch all around  and then stamped the "ivy leaves" stamp from the Vintage Vogue stamp set and stamped the Happy Easter from the new set Well Scripted in Mellow Moss. 

I love the dimension the butterflies add to the card.  It is so much prettier in real life.

Happy Birthday and Happy Easter

More spring in my step!

I loved the way this turned out. 

My two favorite stamp sets together in one and they have unlimited possibilities.

I used the Medallion Background Stamp and stamped it in Summer Sun Classic Ink on Whisper White.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Classic Ink in the lower corner, and yes I used the new Well Scripted Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog (to be released soon).  I used my piercing tool and pierced a little hole and added by Summer Sun Corduroy Button and layered it to the Basic Black Cardstock.  I used dimensional and layed that to the Whisper White foundation of the card.

It is so bright and such a happy pair of cards....lol.  I had to order other buttons in all the colors to play with for other ideas that popped out when I was making these.

Well Scripted Happy Birthday

I love this new stamp set.  I can't wait for it to be available for you all.  This is one of my preorder sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I have been making up sample after sample to show you all and hope you enjoy them.

This card is hard to see the front of, but the little layer on the top is scored on top above and below the Happy Birthday words on the layer. 

This layer is open in the first picture and tucked under the button in the 2nd picture below.  You can see the score lines a little better in the next picture.

The card opens as usual to put yet another message inside like you normally would and to write your birthday wishes inside.

I used the Summer Sun Corduroy Buttons # 114343 and Crushed Curry Polka Dotted Ribbon, they matched so close.   

Again I used the Well Scripted Stamp set and stamped it in Basic Black Classic Ink on the top little layer .

This is another card that doesn't take a long time to created.  I put the black layer up on dimensional to give it some "dimension"...lol... oh well.  I tied the ribbon around the basic black layer and tied it in a knot and card was done!

Peep Peep Peep

I think this little chick is so cute!

You can almost feel the warm fuzz!

He is just screaming spring time to me and with the cold freezing temperatures, freezing rain, snow, more rain and more snow....I am now screaming for spring time....lol.!

I used the new Well Scripted Stamp Set #117072 from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the cute little chick is from the Country Morning Stamp Set, Level 1 Hostess set.

Very simple one layer card and easy to make.  I stamped the Happy Easter in Basic Black Classic Ink, and then scored the left side of the card up to the letters.  Then I stamped the 3 little chicks in black also.  I colored them in with a Stampin' Write Marker in Barely Banana. 

What a very cute and very simple card and so adoreable!!!

Happy Birthday in Vintage Vogue

I love this card!!!  

When I first got my new Vintage Vogue Stamp Set as part of my Occasions Mini Catalog preorder, I fell in love with this stamp set. 

I pretty much knew what I wanted to make right away and could barely get the box open to start stamping.

Tons of ideas were bouncing inside my little brain that it made my head hurt....LOL.

This card is took 5 minutes or less to make.   It took me longer to look through the Sweet Pea Designer Series Stack to pick out the paper I wanted than it did to put the card together and punch the trim on it.  I love the DSP stack, lots of paper to play with!

I used a small piece of DSP about 3/4 inch wide cut to length and punched the Scallop Trim Border directly to the Whisper White layer.  Then I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Well Scripted Stamp Set #117072.  I scored the two bottom lines then I stamped the leafy stamp from the Vintage Vogue 3 times across the front of the card and then I scored it again and added the little bling.  I stamped the stamps in Mellow Moss Classic Ink and I love the way it turned out.

When I made this card I thought of my dear friend Leigh, who lives back in Virginia. 

IRL this card has such charm and personality!

I layered it up on Perfect Plum, with a layer of black up on dimensionals and stamped the border edge stamp from Vintage Vogue # 117690 and then used the Scallop Trim Border punch # 118402 to give it the finishing touches it needed.

This set is from the new Occasions Mini Catalog coming out soon! 

I love the look of it and the simplicity of it!

Congratulations

What a cute card! 

Easy to make and looks so pretty in real life!

This card was made with some new sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the SAB Mini Catalog along with one of the new punches.  They are so pretty I can't wait to start selling them.

I used the stamp set Vintage Vogue #107390 for wood mounted or 118595 for clear mounted.  I also used Well Scripted #117072 for the Congratulations stamped on the top layer.  I used the new Scallop Trim Border punch #118402. 

Very simple but very elegant!  Hope you all enjoy!
